With the help of the Excel ROUNDDOWN function, this task can be achieved very easily. The Microsoft Excel ROUNDDOWN function returns a number rounded down to a specified number of digits. This is a built-in function in Excel and is categorized as a Math/Trig Function. It can also be used as a worksheet (WS) function in Microsoft Excel. The ROUNDDOWN function can be entered as a part of a formula in the cell of the worksheet.
