CFA level 1 Eligibility
In order to be eligible for the CFA level 1 program you need to meet any of the below mentione criterias
Bachelors Degree
If you have completed any of the under graduate programs whether it is for 3 years or 4 years then you are elgibile to register for the cfa level 1 exam.
Undergraduate
You can also register for the CFA level 1 exam, provided that the exam window is 23 months or less away from graduation. Which means that you can register for the CFA level 1 exam also at the end of 1st year if you are pursuing a 3 year graduation degree. Whereas incase you are pursuing a 4 year graduation, then you can register for the level 1 exam at the end of 2nd year.
Professional Experience
In case you don’t have both a undergraduate degree, neither you are pursuing one. Then you need to have 4000 working hours in a minumum timeframe of 3 sequential years to be elgible to register for the CFA exam.

- For CFA Level I, there will be 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with three options: one right and two wrong.
- For CFA Level II, there will be 22 case-study MCQs. Each case study will have 4 MCQs.
- In CFA Level III, there will be 11 case-study MCQs and 11 sets of essay questions.
One-time enrolment fee of $350 when you register with CFA Institute. For each level, you have to exam fee. Early exam fee $900 and Standard exam fee $1,200. In INR Terms inclusive of everything, you end up spending around 2.5 to 3 Lacs.
